From bespoke kitchen extensions to full home refurbishment bringing your dreams to life
We take pride in our work and deliver the very highest standards of workmanship.
We believe you should know who is working in your home.
We are passionate about making the building trade smarter and cleaner.
We are your first point bespoke building and refurbishment specialists, providing the people of Leeds and West Yorkshire building services. Whether you’re looking for a home extension, loft conversion, structural alteration or an even a new kitchen & bathroom, our team will make your dreams come to life.
An extension or conversion can significantly increase your living space and transform your home.
Before work begins, you’ll need architectural plans approved by your local council’s building control team. We offer a hassle-free start-to-finish process, handling building control on your behalf and providing full plans and specifications from architects and engineers we’ve worked with on many projects.
Refurvana building & refurbishments are qualified and insured to help you alter your home’s internal layout through the removal of walls, chimneys or floors.
Removing load-bearing walls requires a structural engineer to ensure your home’s structural integrity is maintained. Walls around staircases may provide fire escape protection—altering these could require compensatory measures such as smoke alarms or adapted windows.
Any work on load-bearing or fire protection walls without Local Authority Building Control (LABC) approval could invalidate your buildings insurance. Contact LABC first—they can advise on requirements and recommend a structural engineer if needed. We also work regularly with a structural engineer we’d be happy to recommend.
Once you have detailed plans or LABC advice, we can quote accurately and the work will be covered by our insurance. On completion, LABC will inspect and issue a building control certificate, which you’ll need when selling your home or making an insurance claim.
1. HVAC Maintenance
Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems need regular inspection and cleaning. Filters are replaced, ducts cleaned, and thermostats calibrated. This keeps the air clean, prevents energy waste, and ensures comfort in every season.
2. Electrical System Maintenance
Electrical inspections check for damaged wiring, overloaded circuits, and safety issues. Lighting systems are tested, backup generators are serviced, and emergency lighting is maintained.
3. Plumbing Maintenance
Regular plumbing maintenance prevents leaks and blockages. It includes inspecting pipes, checking water pressure, cleaning drains, and ensuring the water system is hygienic.
4. Structural Maintenance
This includes repairing cracks in walls, fixing roofs, painting, and sealing joints. It keeps the building safe and protects it from moisture, corrosion, and weather damage.
5. Fire and Safety Maintenance
Fire alarms, sprinklers, and extinguishers must be inspected regularly. Emergency exits and signage are checked to ensure compliance and safety for everyone in the building.
6. Cleaning and Grounds Maintenance
Daily cleaning, waste management, pest control, and outdoor landscaping are part of building maintenance too. These tasks keep the environment pleasant and professional for workers and visitors.

In industrial or commercial facilities, maintenance also involves machines, lifts, boilers, and other operational assets. Keeping these in good condition avoids production losses and ensures safety.
